KAREOKE NIGHT: There will be a Karaoke night fundraiser at Good Shepherd on Saturday, 7 Sept. from 16h30. tickets are R 60p.p and includes cheese & wine and curry & rice. Please support the event. Tickets are available from the office or with Gloria or Linda. Please RSVP for catering purposes by 25 August. There is a wish list of items need, please put your name on the list should you wish to contribute towards this fundraiser.

BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY: 15 September.  Please invite a friend to attend church with you.  Did you know that 82% of unchurched individuals wish to be invited to church by their church going friends.  Flyers are in the leaflet– please invite someone!

PRESBYTERIAN LADIES FELLOWSHIP: Will be hosting their annual birthday party on 17 Sept. at 09h00 for 09h30. Please RSVP by speaking MJ or putting your name on the invite which is on the notice board.

MOTHER’S UNION HERITAGE DAY LUNCH: on Sunday,  22 September at 11am at a cost of R50 per person. Those attending are requested to come dressed in traditional attires on this day.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH FUNDRAISER: on Sat 28th Sept. 2019 at 9am.  Chris Botha, retired head of Netcare  Ambulance Services, will be presenting & demonstrating CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) at our church. All of us should know how to resuscitate a person in  need & this is your opportunity to learn or refresh this procedure.  There will be a small entrance fee & refreshments will be on sale.  Further details will follow.

Become Still with God Interactive Prayer Afternoon: 28 September from 14:00 – 18:00 pm at St Mary’s Kingsburgh. We would like to invite everyone to a Prayer afternoon, to Become Still with God, to open ourselves to listen and to hear God’s message to us. Starting at 14:00pm we will go through 9 prayer stations covering different topics and styles of prayer and you can leave anytime. For more information please contact Vanda on 082 651 7339. Volunteers most welcome.

BAG-A-THON:  you are invited to join the Ladies Guild in making bags. 26 October at 14h00. lunch will be served– please see the advert on the notice board for further details.

If you would like to borrow items from the church (kitchen items etc) please speak to Kim in the office first.

The aim of fundraising is to invite those who are not members of the church to attend.  Please encourage your friends, work colleagues, members of the public (living at Mooi Hawens, Poinsettia etc) to attend in order to make the event successful and not stressful to those in the congregation.
